I’m kind of really excited for uni? Uhhhh Offers haven’t come out yet so I’m somewhat counting my chickens but ah it just seems exciting - so many areas of study to choose from, so many fascinating subjects and I just want to start the process now!

I think travelling alone for 6 weeks (/alone in large groups of people as well) has actually changed me as a person, and to be able to notice the changes within myself as they’re happening is kind of freaking me out. Almost like I’m watching them occur in someone else? I sound completely out of it but I am not on anything just fyi
Some atheists are so arrogant and really quite ignorant that I’m embarrassed to be lumped in with them
I hate this idea that any religious person is a moron or is hateful… Some of the most intelligent and generous people I know are religious… The kindest person I know is religious. She’d be kind with or without her beliefs, they’re just another aspect of her. They...

Protip: Turning 18 doesn’t automatically make you mature. The government may consider you an adult, but those who know you sure as hell don’t.

Is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with.
Cause I’ve seen more spine in jellyfish. I’ve seen more guts in 11 year old kids.
Have another drink and drive yourself home - I hope there’s ice on all the roads, and you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt… And again when your head goes through the windshield.
Is that what you call tact?...

Sometimes I am honestly blown away by how nice people are, though that doesn’t make sense since they’ve been consistently fantastic for years. So grateful to have the friends I do, I hope they know that

I saw my dear pal Abby for a few hours this morning, went to the van Gogh museum, and am now at the Hard Rock Cafe. Good day in Amsterdam, despite the hail!

Apparently, when I edit the tags on a post, it changes the date posted, so all of my recent posts are actually from early November. This is confusing.

Few things in the world feel as good as collapsing into bed after a 24 hour flight and an 8 hour day out, seriously.
The Doctor Who exhibition was awesome (some photos are on Facebook for those I’m friends with), and I did a bit of shopping along Kensington High Street today, followed by dinner in Covent Garden.
This is brief because I’m tired and have to be up at 5am to go to...

Today in Rome I went to a cat sanctuary, went to the Keats-Shelley House, spent too much money, saw the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, heard Italian cover versions of ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ and ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and saw a gladiator getting off a bus. Good times

Taking myself on a Gaudi tour of the city today! Woohoo

Tonight was fun, spent literally 3 hours dancing on tables in a bar in Nice to some band who very much enjoyed our enthusiasm
Had a bit of a depressed drunk moment with one girl’s half-drunk, misinformed comment about my weight annoying me and the constant remarks about my age getting to me, but most people here are so great and so genuine and I just need to remember that!
2.30am and I...

Overly judgemental people are some of the most boring people on Earth.
You sit around judging others and talking about their lives for long enough and before you know it, yours has passed you by. What a great existence, who wouldn’t want to join you up on your pseudo moral high ground

My brain isn’t letting me be happy for anyone because it’s too engrossed in my own sadness about my ATAR
I just hate that I had to get depression and anxiety during the HSC, because who needs the additional stress?! Me, apparently
And people are saying my mark isn’t that bad but when all of your friends get high 90s, shit seems pretty bleak
I’m glad I’m around...

There are always people who know they did well, and know they’re lucky to have done so and that not everyone else is as lucky, yet still complain
‘Only got 89.5, ugh so close!’
Yeah, sorry, no sympathy from me
